Romy, of The xx Fame, Unveils Enchanting Single “The Sea” from Upcoming Solo Album alexadmin
Anyma—DJ, producer, and digital visionary—has just dropped his electrifying new single, “Work”, featuring none other than rap phenom Yeat. This genre-blurring track fuses Anyma’s signature melodic techno with Yeat’s boundary-pushing vocal delivery, forging a collaboration that feels both futuristic and raw.
Hot on the heels of his previous release, “Neverland (From Japan),” and the announcement of his highly anticipated third album, “The End of Genesys,” this latest offering is already igniting massive excitement across the electronic and hip-hop scenes alike.
Before its official drop, “Work” made waves with an exclusive debut at The Sphere in Las Vegas, where Anyma and Yeat performed the track live for a packed audience. This historic moment marked the first-ever rap performance at the venue, further cementing the track’s significance within Anyma’s groundbreaking 12-date residency—an event that redefined the possibilities of electronic music performances.
Accompanying the release is a cinematic music video that amplifies the track’s hypnotic energy. Fans can expect a seamless blend of pulsating beats, mesmerizing visuals, and Yeat’s otherworldly delivery, making it a standout moment in “The End of Genesys” album rollout.
Slated to conclude the Genesys trilogy, the album will also feature “Angel In The Dark,” “Hypnotized” (with Ellie Goulding), “Voices In My Head” (with Argy & Son of Son), and a treasure trove of unreleased collaborations with Grimes, FKA Twigs, 070 Shake, Luke Steele (Empire of the Sun), and more—many of which were premiered live during his Sphere residency.
Closing out his monumental “The End of Genesys” residency, presented by Live Nation, Anyma delivered four final breathtaking shows, following an already legendary run of eight consecutive sellouts. With a staggering 200,000 attendees across all 12 dates, this residency wasn’t just a concert series—it was a technological and artistic revolution.
Each night, an elite roster of electronic music’s most influential figures joined him on stage, including John Summit, Mau P, Peggy Gou, Solomun, and many more. The performances featured an intricate fusion of music, art, and AI-driven visuals, guided by creative masterminds like Alessio De Vecchi (visual co-creative director), Alexander Wessely (stage designer), and Woodblock (animation studio).
The Sphere residency has been heralded as a landmark achievement in electronic music. Variety praised Anyma’s “attention to detail” and his ability to merge concert, concept, and cinema into a single, immersive experience. Billboard lauded the show’s poetic interplay between human creativity and technological advancement, while Rolling Stone highlighted the use of volumetric capture technology, which created a three-dimensional sound experience unlike anything seen before.
With “Work” setting the stage for the final chapter of the Genesys saga, Anyma is proving once again that he’s not just making music—he’s engineering the future of live performance.
