Darren Styles and Mark Sixma Bump Fists on Hard-Hitting Anthem: ‘Louder’ (feat. Noubya)

Even seasoned music producers such as Darren Styles and Mark Sixma still get to see lifelong dreams come true, and this new, collaborative release on Armada Music serves as a perfect example. Both longtime fans of each other’s work, the hard dance pioneer and Dutch DJ and producer finally ended up in a studio together and came out bearing a ground-breaking, amped-up single destined to set the scene on fire: ‘Louder’ (feat. Noubya).

Exactly the high-energy anthem you’d expect from a British-Dutch link-up of this magnitude, ‘Louder’ effectively blends both artists’ perspectives of the harder music styles. Helmed by throbbing bass, a strong message and the entrancing vocals of Dutch singer-songwriter Noubya, this long-anticipated record pulsates with so much energy it will speak to their fans in volumes.

“Mark sent me over the idea for the track and once I heard the vocal, I was hooked; I knew I had to jump on board”, Darren Styles says. “It was great to work with Mark as I’m a big fan, and I’m excited to hear what people think.”

“I was having fun in the studio with an incredible, high-BPM vocal, and I knew I couldn’t build a proper trance track around it”, Mark Sixma explains. “So I experimented a bit, ended up with something hard-dance-like and asked myself who could bring this record to life. I instantly thought of Darren Styles because I’ve been a fan of his work for a long time, and I’m super happy he wanted to work with me on ‘Louder’.”
