Drum and bass legend Goldie has stepped in to headline at Buckingham’s Stowaway Festival next month, replacing the legendary Roy Ayers who had to cancel his European shows due to health complications from Covid-19.
A message from Ayers expressed his regret for having to cancel the performances and mentioned that he hopes to recover soon. The Stowaway Festival organizers sent their love and best wishes to Roy Ayers, and they were excited to announce that Goldie would be the new Saturday headliner.
Goldie’s extensive career in drum and bass promises to take the audience on a diverse musical journey. The festival will take place at Blackpit Farm, Stowe, featuring music, comedy, wellness, relaxation, and children’s activities on a 400-acre site with ancient woodland and a lake.
The festival’s music lineup includes various artists, and the Comedy Stage will be headlined by comedian Jack Dee, along with other performers to be announced. Stowaway’s founder, Duncan Wheeler, aims to create an atmosphere of joy, freedom, and good vibes, making it an enjoyable and affordable experience for attendees.
