Roger Sanchez and emerging UK artist Katy Alex collaborate on Keep It Movin’, a summer hit.

With their collaboration on “Keep It Movin,” Roger Sanchez and Katy Alex achieve the ideal fusion of catchy melodies and rich harmonies, disco-tinged house production, high-energy string sections, and funky bass lines, all of which are topped off with a unique and contagious top-line vocal.

From his modest beginnings in New York City, searching through dusty crates of old vinyl and playing at house parties, Roger Sanchez has dominated playlists, radio airwaves, dance floors, and major stages at festivals all over the world.

Recent hits by Roger Sanchez, including Dream On Me with Ella Henderson (50 million streams across all DSPs) and the 20th anniversary of the timeless classic Another Chance (100 million streams across all DSPs), with a brand-new remix by Oliver Heldens, have highlighted his illustrious production credentials.

The renowned producer released new music, collaborated with other artists, began a worldwide tour that included over 130 gigs, and released an all-star remix package of his best work in 2022. Among the remixers are Josh Butler, Eden Prince, Majestic, A-Trak, and Robosonic, to mention just a few. Katy Alex, a rising artist from Liverpool, England, mixes her own distinctive singing style with her talent for writing uplifting and catchy songs. Her breakout year was 2022, when she received over 20 million listens throughout her discography on DSPs, innumerable airplays on Radio 1 in the UK, and placement on two radio playlists at Kiss FM and Capital FM. She has attended songwriting conferences throughout the world in Hamburg and Miami and has received radio backing from stations like Triple J (Australia) and George FM (New Zealand).

Through her collaborations with Piero Pirupa, Sammy Virji, Mollie Collins, and most recently Laidback Luke and Martin Trevy / Neptunica, Katy Alex has established herself as an artist whose ambition matches her own. All of these songs have received widespread radio and streaming platform support, as well as TV song placements like on Love Island in 2023.

Keep It Movin’ is the epitome of earworm melodies and luscious harmonies, with dancing string parts and funky bass lines adorning a high-energy house feel.
