Sziget Festival has just unleashed its third wave of artist announcements for the highly anticipated 2025 edition, bringing an electrifying mix of genres and global talent to the ‘Island of Freedom.’ Among the latest names to join the lineup are Little Simz, FKA Twigs, Empire of the Sun, Michael Kiwanuka, The Last Dinner Party, Portugal. The Man, Alessi Rose, Bartees Strange, The Joy, Sevdaliza, Last Train, Frenna, The Wellermen, and many more.

Expanding its already diverse lineup, Sziget has also taken its electronic music offerings to the next level. With the introduction of the all-new Delta District—home to three immersive stages—the festival is set to deliver an unparalleled nightlife experience. Featuring top-tier acts such as Amelie Lens, Steve Angello, Don Diablo, Vini Vici, Miss Monique, Alok, and Oguz, this dedicated space will be a paradise for fans of house, techno, and underground beats.

A Festival of Freedom, Art, and Music

Taking place from August 6-11, 2025, Sziget continues its tradition of offering a multi-dimensional festival experience beyond just music. Attendees can explore vibrant installations, theatre performances, cabaret shows, stand-up comedy, and even a beachfront escape within the festival grounds. New for 2025, the Delta District will host high-energy club arenas and more intimate spaces for underground sounds. The Yettel Colosseum will serve as an open-air temple for house and techno, while the BOLT Night Stage promises cutting-edge visuals and a state-of-the-art sound system. Additionally, The Club—a fresh addition to the festival—will provide an up-close experience for deep electronic beats.

Star-Studded Performances Await

One of the most highly anticipated performances of the festival, FKA Twigs will finally make her long-awaited Sziget debut. Originally scheduled to perform before the pandemic, the British avant-pop artist will now grace the stage with her critically acclaimed album Eusexua, a masterful fusion of trip-hop, R&B, and hyperpop.

London rapper Little Simz is also set to make waves with her powerful lyricism and dynamic live performance, accompanied by a full band. With a new album slated for release in May, her set promises to be a highlight of the festival.

Returning to Sziget after a hiatus, Empire of the Sun will bring their signature electro-glam sound, dazzling visuals, and beloved hits such as Walking on a Dream and We Are the People. Their new album, Ask That God, will also make its live debut at the festival.

East London’s all-female band, The Last Dinner Party, arrives fresh off their Mercury Prize-nominated debut album Prelude to Ecstasy. With their theatrical flair and genre-defying sound, they’re bound to captivate audiences. Meanwhile, Michael Kiwanuka, celebrated for his soulful and contemporary style, will deliver an unforgettable performance featuring his acclaimed album Small Changes.

Joining the lineup are rising pop sensation Alessi Rose, the enigmatic Sevdaliza, genre-blurring artist Bartees Strange, French indie rockers Last Train, Dutch rap icon Frenna, and the powerful a cappella folk group The Wellermen, among others.
